Here you can find quick answers to some of the most common questions about the Z-Team policies and operations.

What are the requirements to be a Z-Team member?

• Surveys are posted each Thursday and are due back by 6am ET on the following Monday.
• We are looking for attentive members to join our team. Z-Team members are responsible for determining the quality of products, customer service, and store environments. You will be required to submit reports on your findings in a timely manner.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Most members tell us it takes about 1 ½ hours each week to shop and send the surveys.
• Previous experience is not required.
• Access to a computer is required as all surveys are submitted online.
• All surveys are posted each Thursday at 5pm EST and are due Monday at 8am EST, unless the instructions state otherwise.

We require Z-Team members to shop on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday

How long will it take me to complete a survey?

• Most members have stated, it takes about 1 hour each week to shop and submit.
• Surveys are done on your own time, either breaks, lunchtime, or days off.

Am I applying to work for your company?

• You are not applying to be an employee of the company. There is no employee-employer relationship.
• You are an independent contractor with the option to accept or reject surveys.

Do you need surveyors in the area where I live?

• Demand for surveyors change on a regular basis.
• We have Z-Team members across the country from New York to Los Angeles.

Can I also work for other companies?

• Most of our surveyors who we contract are part of the Z-Team part-time while working other jobs.
• You are never asked to, nor should you ever report on your company or employer, including subsidiaries and other store locations of the company or employer.

If your company or employer is listed on the weekly survey, we ask that you leave the portion of the survey that corresponds with your company or employer blank so that there is no conflict of interest.

When do I get paid?

• You are paid by Merchant Forecast, our parent company, bi-weekly.
• The check is in your name and is sent to your listed home address.
• The W9 form you fill out is the only way we can pay you. It states that you are a consultant for us and therefore we don’t take out any taxes. It will be your responsibility to pay the taxes at the end of the year.

• Reset your password – Go to your login page and press the reset password button to have your ID and password reset emailed to you.
